Bond No. 9 Chinatown

Smell can be a powerful trigger for memories.  For me, many of my happiest days involve being with my grandmother visiting her mother in an old apartment building in Chinatown.  As a little girl I remember playing at my great-grandmother's vanity, where she had two bottles of perfume.  When I tried Bond No. 9's Chinatown scent, I immediately got transported back to that time and place.  The Bond girl at the counter told me that this was a more oriental fragrance.  Notes include peach blossom, Gardenia, and cardamom.  It was a very floral kind of sweetness.
