Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

It's a myth that wearing makeup over irritated skin makes it worse.  For the past few days I have been suffering from excessive sweating around my hairline, even when I am in an air conditioned office.  I was creating whiteheads on my forehead, and irritating my t-zone with a pool party for acne creating bacteria. My skin was screaming for relief.  So this morning I got out my tube of  Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20, and my powder and spread this across my face.  The moisturizer in the Laura Mercier cream gave immediate relief to my parched cheeks and over-wet forehead.  The tinted moisturizer also blot the oils on my nose.  The hint of sheer coverage greatly improved the evenness  of the color of my olive complexion.  A little pressed powder gave me that little extra polish. Bond No. 9 Chinatown

Smell can be a powerful trigger for memories.  For me, many of my happiest days involve being with my grandmother visiting her mother in an old apartment building in Chinatown.  As a little girl I remember playing at my great-grandmother's vanity, where she had two bottles of perfume.  When I tried Bond No. 9's Chinatown scent , I immediately got transported back to that time and place.  The Bond girl at the counter told me that this was a more oriental fragrance.  Notes include peach blossom, Gardenia, and cardamom.  It was a very floral kind of sweetness.  Bond No. 9 Chinatown

Proenza Schouler Arizona Eau de Parfum: capturing the red rock mystique in a bottle

Proenza Schouler, a New York–based womenswear and accessories brand, has launched their first fragrance.  Arizona , a fresh floral mix of living cactus flower accord, creamy orris accord, is contained in a  bottle with an interior shaped like a splashing raindrop. The designers, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, designed the fragrance after being inspired by a roadtrip through the desert lands of Arizona.   One of the wonders they visited on this trip included Antelope Canyon in the Navajo nation.  The canyon is a narrow passageway that is only safe to visit a few times a year.  At various times over the seasons it's on the pathway of migrating antelopes.  The mineral rich red rock has been smoothed into sandy groves along it's walls, and the top of the canyon features natural skylights that create colors ranging from deep purples, reds, and yellows as the sun shines into the canyon at different times of the day.   This ...

Brides Magazine says that low necklines and low backs on dresses continue to to dominate the runways.  Earlier this week I got a sneak peek at what Armani will be supplying to Saks for the rest of 2017.  Indeed, a gorgeous butterfly back dress with a low neckline and a low back appeared. For those ladies that need a little skin tune up, here are some tips. Healthy looking skin is generally free of inflammation related blemishes, excess dead skin, and dryness.
